Earth Day is April 22, and Oklahoma City is celebrating Earth Month with a variety of activities.
Myriad Gardens plant sale: A selection of plants and flowers will be on sale in the Crystal Bridge Visitors Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and proceeds benefit the gardens. Call 297-3996 for information.
Downtown hike: Naturalists will take participants on a 45-minute walk around downtown to show how nature makes its home in the area. The tour begins at noon on the east side of City Hall, 200 N Walker Ave. Call 297-2578 or email email@example.com to register.
Downtown bicycle riding class: A class on safe bike riding in the downtown area will start at noon on the northwest corner of the Myriad Gardens. Participants should bring their bike and helmet and can go on an optional bike ride after class. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
Spring floral walking tour of Will Rogers Gardens, and free bus rides: A guided floral tour at Will Rogers Gardens, 2400 NW 36, begins at 9:30 a.m. Call 943-0827 to register.
