There's still time to get registered for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon.

Due to deferrals by some runners, several races will be opened to a limited number of registrants Friday at the marathon's Health and Fitness Expo. The full marathon and the relay still have spots available, but two races that were previously sold out, the half marathon and the 5K, will have additional spots available.

“With every race, there are always deferrals, so once they have been put in the system, that opens up spots for other runners,” Oklahoma City National Memorial executive director Kari Watkins said. “We have had so many calls and a demand for these spots, we decided to open them back up to new runners.

“We are excited to be able to allow more runners into the marathon weekend.”

The expo begins at noon Friday at the Cox Convention Center, and the spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration costs are: marathon, $150; half marathon $100; relay, $325; and 5K, $50.
