The Oklahoma Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution elected officers for the 2012-2014 term. Pat McFall is the new state regent. Ellen Thompson was elected Capital District director. Joy Plumlee is the new state chaplain. Norma Hughes is organizing secretary, and Teresa Cales is corresponding secretary. DAR is a lineage-based nonpolitical women's service organization that promotes historic preservation, education and patriotism. There are 42 chapters in the state with more than 2,700 members.
