UCO taking nominations for outstanding alumni

The University of Central Oklahoma's alumni relations office is seeking nominations for the outstanding Central alumni for the 2013 distinguished alumni awards and the 2013 Family of the Year award. AARP, historical society celebrate partnership

AARP Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Historical Society will kick off their new partnership with a special event at the Oklahoma History Center at 7:15 p.m. Thursday. Mozart for Mothers set at Library

The Downtown Library will host Mozart for Mother's Day from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday. The performance will be in the library's atrium. Mozart's work will be performed by Wayne McEvilly on piano.

Zoo to host breakfast

The Oklahoma City Zoo will host the Ostrich Egg Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for kids and includes all you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, waffles and omelets. Sunday, the zoo will offer free admission to all mothers who visit the zoo in observance of Mother's Day. Mothers get in free with any paid admission to the zoo.
