Read Across Oklahoma heads to zoo

The nutty tale of three chipmunks and their zoo adventures will come to life during Read Across Oklahoma on Tuesday at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Children 11 and younger can participate in reading-related activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first 1,000 children to visit will receive a free book courtesy of Target.

Focused around the book “Oh, Nuts!,” by Oklahoma author Tammi Sauer, activities are geared to get little ones to go nuts about reading, according to a news release.
