2 life terms ordered in murder

An Oklahoma man convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the shooting death of a Tulsa businessman has been sentenced to two life prison terms. A Tulsa County district judge Friday formally sentenced Alonzo “Jack” Johnson in the 2008 murder-for-hire of Neal Sweeney. Prosecutors say the triggerman used the van to travel to and from the scene of the shooting. A convenience store operator has said he paid to have Sweeney killed. Sweeney ran a company that stopped regular fuel delivery to the operator’s stores.
