Oklahoma City payday loan business robbed Friday

A masked man entered a Check ‘n' Go store at 2340 NW 23 about 10:20 a.m. Friday and demanded money. The man left the business with an undisclosed amount of money and ran south, possibly toward a nearby apartment complex.

Oklahoma City police are searching for a man who robbed a payday loan business Friday morning.

A masked man entered a Check ‘n' Go store about 10:20 a.m. Friday and demanded money, said Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City Police Department.

The man left the business, located at 2340 NW 23, with an undisclosed amount of money and ran south, possibly toward a nearby apartment complex, Wardlow said.

The robber is described as a light-skinned black male, she said.
