Oklahoma City police arrest 16 in prostitution sting

An undercover Oklahoma City police operation has led to the arrests of 16 people since Tuesday on various prostitution complaints.

An undercover Oklahoma City police operation has led to the arrests of 16 people since Tuesday on various prostitution complaints.

Vice unit detectives staged the sting and made the arrests at a northwest Oklahoma City hotel. Twelve people were jailed on complaints of Internet prostitution and offering to engage in prostitution. Each agreed to provide specific sexual contact to an undercover officer in exchange for money ranging from $160 to $300, police said.

Four others were jailed on complaints of aiding in prostitution, according to police reports.

Arrested on complaints of Internet prostitution and offering to engage in prostitution were Krislyn Taylor, 24; Ashley Newsome, 25; Louella Faith Morton, 27; Hollie Ann Mandarich, 21; April Lynn Bedzyk, 26; Latasha Nicole Whitehorse, 25; Andrea Latrice Pierson, 22; Verna Leah McAnulty, 19; Jennifer Nicole Buchanan, 31; Monica Kathrine Jarvis, 19; Kaelyn Danielle Davis, 30, and Katrina Marie Madden, 24.

Jailed on complaints of aiding in prostitution were Nicholas Nelson, 22; Charice Deneice King, 25; Keith Martezz Caston, 25; and Brandy Dawn King, 28, according to the police report.
