Oklahoma City police investigate July 4 homicide

Police are looking for someone who shot and killed a man in Oklahoma City. It happened early July 4.

Police are investigating the early Friday shooting death of a man in Oklahoma City.

Keon Johnson, 22, was shot by an unknown person about 1:15 a.m. at 4361 W Reno Ave. When officers arrived they found Johnson lying in front of a motel office. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, police report.

Police recovered a vehicle that may have been involved in the homicide, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide tip line 297-1200. Callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
