Oklahoma City police look for man who was shot at by bail bondswoman

A bail bond team found a man in a southwest Oklahoma City motel. When the man tried to drive away in a truck, the bail bondsman was sideswiped and the bondswoman fired at him, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said. No arrests have been made.

A bail bondswoman shot at a man who drove toward her while he was trying to flee a southwest Oklahoma City motel, police said.

A bail bond team was searching for a man Wednesday afternoon and found him at the Bel Aire Motel, 3305 SW 29, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

The man struggled with a bondsman and a bondswoman and got into a truck to drive away. The man sideswiped the bail bondsman and drove toward the bondswoman. She fired one shot at the truck and the man drove away. No one was hit by the gunshot, Wardlow said.

No arrests were made and the man fled in a silver Chevrolet Silverado, she said.

No names were released.
