Oklahoma City police looking for suspect in Walgreens burglary

Oklahoma City police released surveillance video of a man smashing through the front door of Walgreens, 1640 SW 119, early Tuesday. The only thing reportedly stolen was a package of cigarettes, according to the report.

Oklahoma City police have released a surveillance video showing a man smashing through the front door of a Walgreens, 1640 SW 119.

The burglary was reported about 6:20 a.m. New Year's Eve by an employee who found the top of the front door smashed in and a shopping cart outside the front door used as a way to get out, according to the incident report.

Officers found blood and broken glass near the front door and found the only thing stolen was a package of cigarettes from behind the counter, according to the report.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. Callers may be eligible for cash rewards.
