Oklahoma City police released a surveillance video of three women suspected of stealing more than $2,200 worth of merchandise from a store in the Penn Square Mall.

Police were called about 2 p.m. Jan. 23 to Aeropostale in Penn Square Mall, 1901 Northwest Expressway. The store manager told the police officer that the theft occurred Jan. 22 and that a total of $2,242 worth of merchandise had been stolen, according to the incident report.

The manager told the officer that the shoplifters stole merchandise displayed by the door. The merchandise at the display do not have sensors because of the display’s proximity to the door, according to the report.

The three women being sought are black and are described as between 20 to 30 years of age, according to the report.

“You get a good enough look at them that anyone who knows them should recognize them,” police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Anyone with information about the incident or recognizes the women in the video is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
