Police say they arrested an Oklahoma City man Wednesday after he threatened his mother with a gun while playing Russian roulette.
Wilhelm Andreas Wright, 42, was arrested on complaints of possession of a firearm while intoxicated, driving under the influence and reckless driving after his mother reported he was playing Russian roulette and asked her to play, according to the police report.
Police went to the woman's home in the 6500 block of Eastbourne Lane about 12:30 a.m. and saw a vehicle traveling east from the house at a high rate of speed.
They pulled Wright over a few blocks away and arrested him. Officers found a .22 caliber handgun with the cylinder and firing pin missing sitting in the front seat of Wright's car, according to the report.
Wright's mother told police Wright was drunk and had been playing Russian roulette with the gun and had asked her if she wanted to play. She said she became upset and told him to leave.
Wright was being held in the Oklahoma County jail Thursday awaiting bail to be set.
