Oklahoma City police search for convenience store robber

Oklahoma City police release surveillance photos of the armed robber who robbed a Circle K store July 4.

Oklahoma City police continue to look for an armed robber who robbed a convenience store on July 4.

Police responded to a call at the Circle K store at 4501 NW 39 about 1:55 a.m. July 4, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. The suspect was described as a black man wearing a blue Oklahoma City Thunder hooded sweatshirt.

Knight said the man picked up a 32-ounce drink and walked up to the counter, where he pulled out a handgun and demanded cash. After taking some money, he walked away from the store. No one was injured.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
