Oklahoma City police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is wanted for a domestic abuse crime.

Investigators accuse Taylor Elledge, 29, of attacking a woman on Aug. 3 and leaving her with serious injuries. He is accused of beating and choking the woman for hours, before leaving her in an apartment. A friend found the woman and called 911, police said.

The woman told police that was not the first time Elledge had abused her. Investigators are asking anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police.

Elledge has an active warrant for assault and battery with intent to kill, police said. He has a newer model black Chevy Tahoe with black rims.
