Oklahoma City police seek man for questioning in theft at hotel

Oklahoma City police are seeking a man for questioning in the theft of recording equipment from a conference room Tuesday at a southwest Oklahoma City hotel.

Police are looking for a man seen on a hotel surveillance video after electronic recording equipment was stolen Tuesday from a conference room in southwest Oklahoma City, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Audio equipment worth $634 was stolen, including a headset microphone and a sound mixer.

The equipment had been set up for a seminar in the conference room of the Holiday Inn, 4401 SW 15. It is not known what time the equipment was stolen, Knight said.

A man can be seen on the video walking away with a backpack as he looks toward the camera. He is black, 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds.
