Police are looking for a witness they think has information about a homicide in north Oklahoma City.

Deangelos Jones, 20, was found shot to death inside a pickup about 10:30 p.m. Friday after a woman called police and said her sons had been shot, police said. A store surveillance photo of the witness was released Monday.

Latrell Dajuan Nelson, 17, was arrested on a murder complaint and jailed.

Police said occupants of the pickup and a white car were seen in a convenience store parking lot at 10600 N Western Ave. Both vehicles had left the parking lot when officers arrived, but officers found the pickup in the 1200 block of NW 105 Terrace with Jones' body inside.

Investigators think that as the car and the pickup pulled into the parking lot, an argument broke out between the occupants and shots were exchanged.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the witness can call the homicide tip line at 297-1200. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
