Oklahoma City priest named bishop of Salina

For the second time in four years, Pope Benedict XVI has appointed an Oklahoma City priest as a bishop.

The Rev. Edward J. Weisenburger has been named the eleventh bishop of the Diocese of Salina (Kansas) , Benedict announced today in Rome .

Weisenburger is pastor of Our Lady's Cathedral and vicar general for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City .
