Oklahoma City priest to trade places with new archbishop

The Most Rev. Paul S. Coakley said he had been praying for the Lord to send the right person to lead his former Kansas diocese.

Little did Coakley know that his successor as bishop of the Diocese of Salina would be one of the priests in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City , where Coakley is now arch bishop.

It was a switch that neither Coakley nor Bishop-elect Edward J. Weisenburger had anticipated.
