Oklahoma City ranks No. 1 among NBA cities

Shaun Powell ranked the five best NBA cities for USA Today, ranking Oklahoma City as No. 1.

From Powell’s video: “Oklahoma City is the site of the best fans and the loudest arena – which is easy to do when you have Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook on the floor. But about five years ago the Oklahoma City Thunder were in a playoff game, and while they lost in a playoff elimination game, the fans stood and cheered.

“Not only is that loud, that’s class.”

The Thunder fan base ranks ahead of Golden State for the No. 1 spot, according to Powell.

Rounding out the top five NBA cities are Chicago, Dallas and Portland. Check out the entire video here.
