OKC woman wins St. Jude home
EDMOND — Lucinda Kennon, of Oklahoma City, was the winner of the 2013 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, a 3,100-square-foot home built by Timbercraft Homes in Edmond's Fallbrook addition. She said she bought the ticket in the raffle to support the children treated at St. Jude Children Research Hospital with no expectation of winning. It was her third year to buy a Dream Home ticket.
The home has an estimated value of $425,000. Since the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway launched in 1991, St. Jude has given away more than 300 houses and raised more than $240 million in ticket sales, making it the largest single-event fundraiser for the hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
