Oklahoma City trailed 6-0 in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and nobody on. Shortstop Jonathan Villar's grand slam capped an improbable six-run rally. The RedHawks won it 7-6 on a throwing error in the 10th that scored Brandon Laird.

NINE-GAME HOME WINNING STREAK

The RedHawks have won nine consecutive home games. They ended an eight-game homestand last week with a seven-game winning streak, defeating New Orleans three times and sweeping a four-game series against Nashville.

Oklahoma City has opened another eight-game homestand with back-to-back wins over Tacoma, which owns the best record in the PCL.

“This is like the third time we've had (ninth inning) rallies like this,” Jaramillo said. “There is no die in us. We're playing great as a team. We just hope we can carry this momentum going forward.”
