PAPILLION, Neb. — The Oklahoma City RedHawks snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers in Pacific Coast League action Saturday night.
Mike Foltynewicz picked up his fifth win of the season after throwing 6 2/3 innings to pull OKC to within a half game of first-place Omaha. The right-hander struck out eight batters while allowing two earned runs on four hits.
Carlos Perez scattered three hits on the night and knocked in one run. L.J. Hoes had two RBIs in his only hit of the contest.
Oklahoma City concludes its series with Omaha on Sunday afternoon before returning home for an eight-game homestand with Salt Lake and Las Vegas.
