OKLAHOMA CITY METRO AREA

Ongoing construction projects:

→Drivers on NW 164 will notice a slight shift in lanes between Pennsylvania Avenue and Western Avenue as they are moved to a newly constructed lane. Work will continue in the area from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday through May for a widening project. The overall project will continue through fall 2010.

→Expect various lane closures on east- and westbound State Highway 152 (Airport Road) at Meridian Avenue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through mid-May for bridge painting.

Interstate 40 Crosstown work continues through 2012. Additional lanes, city streets affected by I-40 Crosstown construction, include:

→Santa Fe Avenue permanently closed between SW 7 and SW 9. →Eastbound I-40 narrowed slightly but remains open between Portland Avenue and I-44 through summer 2010. →Pennsylvania Avenue closed between Reno Avenue and Exchange Avenue until late 2010. Detour is Agnew Avenue.

→Robinson Avenue closed between SW 10 and SW 4 until early 2011. Detour is Shields Boulevard.

→Walker Avenue closed from SW 7 to SW 10 until early 2011. The detour route is Western Avenue.

→North- and southbound Interstate 35 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at S 4th Street in Moore (SH 37) and on- and off-ramps at 4th will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday mornings for bridge work.

→SH 4 will be closed to through traffic between I-40 and SH 66 in Yukon through spring 2010 as part of a widening project. Local traffic and businesses will retain access.

→North- and southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane between Indian Hills Road and Main Street in Norman and various ramps will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday though Friday through summer as part of an ongoing widening project.

TULSA AREA

All westbound lanes of I-244 on the north leg of Tulsa’s Inner Dispersal Loop are closed. The following lanes and ramps are closed until further notice:

→Westbound I-244 on- and off-ramps at Cincinnati/Detroit (on north leg of IDL).

→Northbound and southbound U.S. 75 off-ramps to westbound I-244.

→The southbound Tisdale Parkway off-ramp to westbound U.S. 412/U.S. 64/SH 51.

→All lanes of Elgin Avenue under the north leg of the IDL.

On-going Construction Projects:

→All lanes of Pine Street are closed under the U.S. 169 junction until further notice as part of a widening project. While all ramps will remain open at this junction, drivers can use ramps at U.
