Oklahoma City School Board delays campus closures

Oklahoma City School Board members have decided to watch population growth in the city before closing three schools and declaring the buildings as district surplus.

During their Monday meeting, board members took no action on a proposal to make three schools surplus and outline their closure dates.

Instead, they directed Superintendent Karl Springer to bring to the board proposals for school closures 12 to 18...
