The Oklahoma City school board will meet Monday night for the first time in 2014. Board members will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the school district administration building, 900 N. Klein Ave. Interim Superintendent Dave Lopez will unveil a proposed transition plan for academic, administrative and community involvement policies. The board also will discuss and/or consider safe rooms in school facilities along with presentations from three organizations submitting charter school applications.
The board previously met at 5:30 p.m. but voted in November to push meetings back an hour to 6:30 p.m.
I’ll be tweeting from the meeting; you can follow me @Tim Willert1. Pick up a copy of tomorrow’s paper for more in-depth coverage of the meeting.
