Oklahoma City Schools approve $603M budget

Oklahoma City School Board members approved a budget for the new fiscal year and the next steps for several MAPS for Kids projects on Wednesday.

The $603 million budget includes $30 million in federal stimulus funds and about $15 million in federal money carryover. In all, federal funds increased from $36 million to $93 million from last fiscal year, said Scott Randall , chief financial officer.
