Oklahoma City sites will offer free winter break meals

Students can find free meals Dec. 17-21 through a program from the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

Students who are out of school next week can eat free lunches and snacks at churches, parks and other locations throughout Oklahoma City.

Lunches and snacks are free daily from Monday through Dec. 21 for students ages 18 and younger.

The program is a partnership between the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department, area churches and civic groups.

Sites are:

Britton Christian Church, 922 NW 91: lunch served at 11:30 a.m.

Douglass Recreation Center, 900 Carverdale: lunch served at 12:30 p.m., snacks at 4 p.m.

Downtown YMCA, 1 NW 4: lunch served at 11:30 a.m., snacks at 3:30 p.m.

McKinley Park, 1300 N McKinley: lunch served at 1 p.m., snacks at 4 p.m.

Minnis Recreation Center, 12520 NE 36: lunch served at noon, snacks at 2 p.m.

North Side YMCA, 10000 N Pennsylvania: lunch served at noon, snacks at 3:30 p.m.

Pilot Recreation Center, 1435 NW 2: lunch served at 1 p.m., snacks at 3 p.m.

Pitts Recreation Center, 1920 N Kate: lunch served at 1 p.m., snacks at 3 p.m.

Schilling Recreation Center, 601 SE 25: lunch served at noon, snacks at 4 p.m.

Sellers Recreation Center, 8301 S Villa: lunch served at 2:30 p.m., snacks at 4:30 p.m.

Southern Oaks Recreation Center, 400 SW 6: lunch served at noon, snacks at 3 p.m.

Urban League, 3900 Martin Luther King Ave.: lunch served at noon, snacks at 4 p.m.
