Oklahoma City students tape teacher to wall as reward

Students at Wayland Bonds Elementary School contributed to a “Pennies for Patients” drive that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Students at Wayland Bonds Elementary School contributed to a “Pennies for Patients” drive that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The charity, supported by schools across the country, is designed to instill compassion and teach the value of helping others. Donations pay for blood cancer research and patient aid programs. The school is in southwest Oklahoma City, in the Moore school district. Students taped one of their teachers to the wall during their lunch hour as a reward for contributing to the drive.
