A look at 15 potential targets the Thunder could have its sights set on for the 15th and final roster spot.

Ben Gordon

•Age: 30

Position: Shooting guard

Comment: He’s probably the most unlikely addition given the Thunder’s current roster. But he’s already not in the rotation in Charlotte, so any minutes he gets on one of the best teams in basketball is a plus. Don’t rule it out.

Daniel Gibson

Age: 28

Position: Point guard/shooting guard

Comment: He hasn’t been with a team all year and has said he’s waiting until he’s ready to return to the NBA. If he is ready, he could add depth in the backcourt and elite perimeter shooting. But the timing just doesn’t seem right.

Brian Cook

Age: 33

Position: Power forward

Comment: He’s a big man who can stretch the floor as a career 38.2 percent 3-point shooter. But he hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season and appeared in only 32 games that year with Washington and the Clippers. He might not have much left to offer.

Louis Amundson

Age: 31

Position: Power forward

Comment: A gritty player who has carved out a reputation through sheer hustle and energy, Amundson would be an ideal practice player who probably never would see minutes in the game.

Dahntay Jones

Age: 33

Position: Shooting guard

Comment: Jones is an athletic wing player known for his defense and toughness. He would be another addition designed to push players in practice.

D.J. White

Age: 27

Position: Power forward

Comment: He played his first 21/2 seasons with the Thunder, appearing in just 42 games with OKC. He couldn’t get consistent minutes then and likely wouldn’t now. But he’s a high-character player who the organization might circle back to if White is available.
