Oklahoma City Thunder calls up Byron Mullens to help trade-depleted roster

The Oklahoma City Thunder has recalled Byron Mullens from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development league, the team announced on Friday.

Mullens will join the Thunder for Friday night's game against the Orlando Magic.

The move was undoubtedly neccessary after Thursday's flury of trades that saw the Thunder send Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic to Boston and D.J. White and Mo Peterson to Charlotte. The players the Thunder got in those trades, Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson from Boston and Nazr Mohammed from Charlotte, will not likely be available for the Thunder against Orlando.

Tipoff for Friday's game against Orlando is at 7 p.m. and the game willb e televised on FS-Oklahoma (Cox 37).
