Oklahoma City Thunder fans swarm sports store Thursday morning
Fans scoop up merchandise as Academy Sports & Outdoors opens the day after the Thunder clinched the Western Conference championship.
A long line of jubilant Thunder fans awaited the opening of Academy Sports & Outdoors at NW 63 and Northwest Expressway the day after their team clinched the Western Conference championship.

Fans screamed “Thunder's No. 1!” and other victory chants now and then as the crowd waited for 8 a.m. The line formed an hour earlier. A cheer erupted when the doors opened.
The hottest items were two T-shirts — one proclaiming Western Conference champs and the other touting the NBA finals.
But fans also could select every other kind of Thunder gear, from foam fingers to car flags.
Store manger Eric Herrera said Academy is offering the same caps and T-shirts the players wore at the trophy presentation Wednesday night. The store opened immediately after the game to begin selling the item.
Herrera said the supply will last.
