When he entered the game late in the first quarter on Saturday night, Derek Fisher made some playoff history.

It marked the 244th postseason game of his career, tying him with former teammate Robert Horry for the most in NBA history.

“Only when I'm asked about it or someone mentions it do I really think about just how crazy it is to me,” Fisher said. “Just never having imagined not just being in the NBA but just to have the history of experiencing the opportunities I've been blessed to have.”

But regardless of the record, Fisher’s focus remains on a bigger goal.

“The reason why my number is No. 6 is because I don't want to wake up from the dream,” Fisher said. “I want it to keep going. So regardless of how many games in the playoffs I've played in, the only thing that matters is we figure out a way to win 16 of them this year and then I'll think about the number after that.”

“Andre’s a developing player, and he’s going to continue to develop,” said Thunder coach Scott Brooks. “He’s only been with us for eight or nine months now. It’s something we’ll continue to work on throughout his career.

“Tony Allen does play his role at a high level. He’s one of the best defenders, he’s one of the best cutters and offensive rebounders, one of the best for his position. He’s done a great job of impacting this series.”
