Kendrick Perkins rejoined the team for Saturday's game at Milwaukee and took his customary place as the starting center.

Perkins had missed the team's last two games to be with his family following the death if his grandfather.

Rookie center Steven Adams had started in place of Perkins but struggled in the first string. Adams averaged five points and two rebounds in 17.8 minutes compared to six points and six rebounds in 20.1 minutes per game coming off the bench.

But with Perkins returning, the Thunder rotation will now go back to its customary look, which should be a boost to the team's second unit.

“It's always good to have Perk back,” said Thunder coach Scott Brooks. “He brings toughness. He brings leadership. He brings the ability just to throw all of our stuff on the court, and he knows how to play. We're excited to have him back.”

SEFOLOSHA SITS WITH FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS

Thabo Sefolosha did not play Saturday because of flu-like symptoms.

Rookie guard Andre Roberson started the game in his place. It was Roberson's first career start.
