Serge Ibaka led the way with eight offensive rebounds against the Sixers and did not grab his first defensive rebound until overtime. Three of Nick Collison's five rebounds were at the offensive end. OKC ranks 26th in offensive rebounding at 9.1.
“It really was kind of a strange stat line for Serge … but it was good,” Brooks said. “I (think we) jinxed ourselves on the opposite way. We got rebounds offensively. That was nice. We needed every bit of them and Serge was huge.”
The Thunder's charter flight got back from Philadelphia at 1:30 a.m. Sunday and the team was given the day off in preparation for Monday's 7 p.m. game against Charlotte at Chesapeake Energy Arena. “We'll be fine,” Brooks said. “We'll come back Monday with good energy.” … Indiana's Roy Hibbert has tied Ibaka for the NBA lead in blocked shots with 43 (3.07 per game). Ibaka's streak of 43 straight regular-season games with at least one blocked shot ended Saturday. … OKC once again is dominating the free-throw line, leading the NBA is shooting percentage (.845) and makes (23.8), both considerably ahead of the nearest challengers. Only the Los Angeles Lakers have more attempts (30.9-28.1), but are shooting just .681.
