After Knicks point guard Beno Udrih fired a wide-open 3-pointer off the side of the backboard, he gave a disgusted look toward the sleeves on his jersey.
It was one of those “must have been the wind” type excuse faces, trying to play it off like the NBA's special Christmas threads were to blame for the brutal miss.
And maybe they did bother Udrih, who went 1-of-6 shooting and complained about the jerseys postgame.
“If you think about them,” the Thunder's Kevin Durant said. “I'm sure they'll mess with your mind a little bit.”
But they didn't seem to be bothering the Thunder shooters, who went a combined 13 of 23 from 3-point range, a blistering long-range display that's been rare for OKC this season.
“Our whole team practices in T-shirts every day,” Durant said. “So I guess that didn't affect us.”
Maybe that's the secret.
