White responds to Gordon’s comments
Thunder forward D.J. White responded to recent statements made by Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon, who said White wasn’t around alleged drug use that Gordon claimed ran rampant at Indiana last year and led to friction on the Hoosiers team.

"Away from the court, I really didn’t see none of that,” said White, the Thunder rookie who was the Big Ten Player of the Year. "I really didn’t hang with certain people. Certain people didn’t hang with me. I was just to myself and doing my own thing, so I really didn’t see anything.”

Durant commercial
During a pre-season October trip to Ontario, Calif., Kevin Durant filmed a Foot Locker "House of Hoops” commercial. The ad began running this week. Durant talks how he "lived” at the Rec Center when he was 14, stating if he left someone else was getting better. His grandmother brought him food. He slept behind a curtain in the gym.

"I’ve seen all of (the new Foot Locker ads) and I think his is one of the better ones out there,” Smith said. "His was a little more comical. His has a little humor to it.”

Durant’s exit line: "It would have been nice to have a pillow, though.”

Toronto star Chris Bosh, who played for Team USA in the Olympics, might become a free agent in 2010. Since he grew up in Dallas, and still lives there in the off-season, could the Mavericks, Spurs or Thunder have an advantage?

"I really haven’t thought about it, but you look at everything, every possible situation,” Bosh said. "Being at home year-round would be different. You have distractions.”

What about Oklahoma City?

"Two-and-a-half hours away isn’t that far,” Bosh said. "In this business, you always weigh all your options. They’re a young team that’s going to get better.”

Toronto forward Joey Graham’s offseason home is in Tampa, Fla., where he grew up.
