The Thunder was 21-4 with Westbrook in the lineup. Oklahoma City was 20-7 without Westbrook over the past 27 games and is 22-8 in the 30 games Westbrook has missed this season.

Although the Thunder has won 15 of its past 17 games, Kevin Durant on Thursday morning didn't express any concern about Westbrook's return disturbing the team's rhythm in Thursday's highly-anticipated showdown with the two-time defending champions.

"He's a big part of what we do," said Kevin Durant. "He's in that matchup. So it's not like he's filling in for somebody and we have to figure out how we're going to plug him in and play. He's a part of the matchup. He's a huge piece. So we're going to let him do what he do. He's going to create for himself and others and he's going to play his tail off...We're looking forward to having him."
