Q: You guys have to be happy with the post defense you’re playing on Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph. What are you guys doing so well against them to limit them to not a lot of points on a lot of shots?
A: Being aggressive, man. It’s aggressive and physical. We know against this team it’s going to be more big (man) problems because the bigs score a lot of points in the paint. We knew that before we started the series so we just put our minds ready to play physical. For us it’s no surprise. It may surprise you, but for us we’ve played against this team for a long time and we know those guys. And for us we expect it to be like that, real physical in the paint. That’s why we’re able to respond.
Do you sense that they’re getting frustrated that they can’t be as effective against you in this series and they’re not as efficient?
Yeah. The same way that they make us work hard, I feel like they work hard, too. After the game, you feel like ‘Dang, my body’s hurt.’ And I feel they feel the same, too. Because we bang out there and we’re going to keep banging. Right now we just have to do a better job when we stop them to play better offense and I’m sure we’re going to do it.
