*Memphis guard Mike Conley on recovering quickly from his hamstring injury: “We have great trainers. They were on me for 48 hours straight, doing treatment and trying to get it back to a level where I could just jog around. I knew if I could just jog, I could play. It was tough but it’s what needed to be done. It was the last game of the season, coming in, possibly so we had to go out there guns blazing, no matter who was hurt and play as hard as we could.”

*Joerger on the play of Westbrook: “I have no idea why he takes the flack that he takes. This man can play. He’s one of the most talented people in the league. It’s unfathomable — how about that one — that he takes. I don’t understand.”
