What to watch for: Rebounding and interior defense will be his calling card. How fast will he figure out how to excel in those areas on the NBA level?

What to watch for: Can he avoid the injury bug? Collison's season got off to a slow start last year because of nagging injuries. And minor knee surgery this summer won't help avoid a repeat occurrence.

School: Ohio State.

Years pro: Three.

What to watch for: Catch-and-shoot skills. If Cook proves he can provide relief with perimeter shooting, there might be a spot for him on the long-term roster.

What to watch for: Minutes played. Durant has had a whirlwind summer, and nothing matters this preseason as much as rest for the face of the franchise.

What to watch for: An enhanced skill set. Ideally, as one of the most versatile threats for the Thunder, Green will return as a better shooter, ballhandler and post-up player.
