OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The National Weather Service is cautioning that the tornado passing through Moore is so large that people may not recognize it as a twister.

Forecasters urgently warned people in Moore on Monday afternoon to seek immediate shelter.

Officials say southwest Oklahoma City is in danger and residents there should also take cover.

The region is taking a second day of battering by spring storms in the central and eastern parts of Oklahoma.
