An Oklahoma City woman fled the scene of an accident that sent one person to a hospital, according to a police report released Monday.

Alexa Andreanna Droke, 36, was booked into the Oklahoma County jail Thursday on complaints of felony hit-and-run, driving under the influence of alcohol and having no state driver’s license.

About 7:15 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a hit-and-run accident with injury at 540 N Council, after a silver car that collided with a white pickup fled the scene, police said. A witness driving in the area followed the suspect’s car to an apartment complex and alerted police.

An officer responded to the residence where the suspect was believed to have entered. Droke, who smelled of alcohol, spoke with the officer and admitted she was driving the vehicle that fled from the accident, police said. She was in custody Monday in lieu of $27,000 bail.

The woman driving the pickup suffered shoulder injuries in the crash, police said.
