Oklahoma City woman dies from injuries suffered in January crash

An Oklahoma City woman died Saturday from injuries suffered in a crash Jan. 25 on Interstate 35 in Cleveland County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported today.

Lorrie D. Cole, 46, was a passenger in a southbound car on the freeway when the driver lost control and crashed at Shields Boulevard about 12:15 a.m., troopers said.

Glenn Lee Rau, 47, of Norman, was driving the car at a high rate of speed, the patrol reported.

Cole died at OU Medical Center, troopers said. Rau declined medical treatment.

Rau was wearing a seat belt, but it isn't known if Cole was wearing one, the patrol reported.
