Oklahoma City woman killed in Arkansas crash

ASHDOWN, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas State Police say an Oklahoma City woman was killed in southwestern Arkansas when she was hit by a vehicle that left the scene.

A state police report says 41-year-old Eugenia Vasquez-Aponte died in the collision early Wednesday on Arkansas 32 in Little River County about five miles west of Ashdown.

The report says the type of vehicle that struck the woman is unknown, but it is believed the vehicle was eastbound at the time.
