The Oklahoma City Zoo is hosting an event for potential volunteers.

It is at 10 a.m. Feb. 6 in Rosser Conservation Education Center, which is on the east end of the zoo parking lot. Potential volunteers will be interviewed. Workers must be 18 or older.

Volunteer opportunities include working with animals, helping with education programs and assisting with the horticulture team.

Horticulture and animal volunteers work at least one eight-hour day a week for at least six months a year. Education volunteers complete 50 hours.
