Oklahoma City's AT&T Bricktown Ballpark to put up nets

Oklahoma City officials will pay $137,000 to install nets to keep birds from roosting at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark.

City council members voted Tuesday to award a contract to Downey Contracting to install the nets, which will be put in place in areas where birds are causing the most problems.

City officials said the ballpark has exposed support beams that attract birds, which cause a mess with their waste. The nets will be put in place later this month, officials said.
