Joe Jacobi calls Oklahoma City and the Boathouse District on the Oklahoma River the perfect place to grow the sport of canoeing and kayaking.

“To say we’ve found the center of the country to be the perfect home for USA Canoe/Kayak understates our excitement to be here,” said Jacobi, the chief executive officer of USA Canoe/Kayak, the national governing body for the Olympic sports of flat water sprint and white-water slalom.
