Oklahoma City-based Express Employment Professionals, one of the nation's largest privately held staffing companies, has hired Keith McFall as general counsel. Beginning Jan. 1, McFall will oversee legal and corporate affairs for Express.

McFall joins Express from the Oklahoma City-based national law firm McAfee & Taft, where he led its business transactions practice group. He has more than 30 years experience in business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, major real estate and development projects and commercial financing.

Bob Funk, Express Employment Professionals CEO, praised McFall for his business acumen and ability to navigate complex legal issues.

“Keith brings invaluable executive experience in the legal and commercial fields to Express,” Funk said. “As a highly respected corporate lawyer, Keith has effectively advised a broad range of companies on a multitude of legal and business matters as well as successfully represented their legal interests during his extensive career.”

McFall said he looks forward to working with Funk to manage legal matters while seeking new business opportunities.

Richard Nix, managing director of McAfee & Taft, said the law firm wishes McFall well.

“We sincerely thank Keith for his many contributions to the firm and the leadership he provided our business transactions group,” Nix said.

Before working at McAfee & Taft, McFall was a shareholder director with Phillips McFall McCaffrey McVay and Murrah, an Oklahoma City law firm he co-founded in 1986 and for which he served as managing director for 16 years. McFall is also general counsel for the State Chamber.
