Oklahoma City's Soul Bowl rivalry still popular after nearly 40 years

The annual Soul Bowl between Douglass and Millwood high schools is one of the most anticipated football games of the season. Millwood won this year's game 31-12.

The annual Soul Bowl between Douglass and Millwood is one of the most anticipated games of the high school football season. The rivalry goes back 38 years and has produced some memorable games.

The bands for each school are known for energetic performances.

Playing at home, Millwood won this year's gridiron matchup 31-12, thanks to a stout defense that shut down the Douglass offense.

Millwood is an independent school district. Douglass is part of the Oklahoma City School District.
